Thanks to the generous support of community partners, the Health and Wellness Program at Alliance for Children & Families has served housing program participants and local community members since early 2019. Our agency hosts a satellite clinic location through the Alliance Family Health Center. The health and wellness program provides the following: free First Aid/CPR certification training, nutrition classes, healthy cooking demos, immunization clinics, wellness-related classes such as Suicide Prevention and Narcan training, regular visits from Ronald McDonald Care Mobile for children’s dental care, and parenting classes. The Health and Wellness Program Coordinator is available for families with health and wellness concerns to provide education and assistance, including referrals to appropriate services based on family needs.
